Michael, that particular sample is from a public domain recording ("Clarinet Jazzy 1940s," in particular) I dug up on Archive.org. Between that site, freesound.org and freeculture.org, there's a huge library of PD or Creative Commons-licensed music and effects out there.

I’m studying your shit (metaphorically, of course!). Which brings me to ask: who did the music, especially for the end theme here? Are you guys horn players, or do you have something on some orchestra you can use as leverage, or do you just have a “phat” sample collection, or is that needle drop stuff, or what?

I’m wintering in Westchester and it’s simply /savage/, let me tell you. The DBEF is the only thing keeping me /sane/. Well, that and the oxycontin prescription.
