[...] Okay, so the season break lasted a little longer than we meant it too. But we’re buffered up, geared down, spitshined and BACK! [...]
This is a great opener to the season. I love what you’ve done with the story (or that you’ve even added one to a comedy podcast) and how the characters have developed over time. Excellent work, guys. Keep ‘em coming!
Fantastic!!! Glad you’re back!
You could always play off the down time as the Profoctor’s “sabbatical leave”.
Maybe davey just had to go to marijuana rehab…
btw im so fucking glad you guys are back! :D!!!!
Keep ‘em coming! 505 words a week isn’t enough, I need puppet rants!:D
Is Thaddeus (supposed to be) British, or is he Rich East Coast Ivy Twit (like the callers)? I actually feel more comfortable with the latter. But who says this show is all about me, eh?
Loved the pacing on this one.
And Braggy is still a beautiful atrocity.
Thaddeus is British, but moved to America in his mid-teens to attend Puppet Harvard.
So, half and half!
Thanks, Bongo. LOVE YOUR WORK.
I’m studying your shit (metaphorically, of course!). Which brings me to ask: who did the music, especially for the end theme here? Are you guys horn players, or do you have something on some orchestra you can use as leverage, or do you just have a “phat” sample collection, or is that needle drop stuff, or what?
I’m wintering in Westchester and it’s simply /savage/, let me tell you. The DBEF is the only thing keeping me /sane/. Well, that and the oxycontin prescription.
Michael, that particular sample is from a public domain recording (“Clarinet Jazzy 1940s,” in particular) I dug up on Archive.org. Between that site, freesound.org and freeculture.org, there’s a huge library of PD or Creative Commons-licensed music and effects out there.
Wow. I use the Archive.org Wayback Machine not infrequently, but never thought to look for PD audio there.
My brain just asploded. Thabkf fuh yo hp.
